Present Perfect Continuous

What is and what is the use:

Que es y como se usa

The Present Perfect Continuous is a verb tense that connects the past with the present. It is used to talk about actions that started in the past and are still continuing, or actions that have recently stopped but have present results.

El Presente Perfecto Continuo es un tiempo verbal que conecta el pasado con el presente. Se usa para hablar de acciones que empezaron en el pasado y continúan en el presente, o de acciones que han terminado recientemente pero tienen resultados en el presente.

 

    • In nursing, it is very useful to describe patients’ habits, treatments, or symptoms that have been happening over time.
  • En enfermería, es muy útil para describir hábitos, tratamientos o síntomas de los pacientes que han estado ocurriendo durante un período de tiempo.

❌ Error 2: Olvidar “been”.

  • Mal: She has taking her therapy.
  • Bien: She has been taking her therapy.
