What is and what is the use:
Que es y como se usa
The Past Simple is a verb tense used to describe actions, events, or situations that happened at a specific time in the past. El Pasado Simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir acciones, eventos o situaciones que ocurrieron en un momento específico en el pasado.
We use the Past Simple when the time of the action is finished and not connected to the present. Usamos el Pasado Simple cuando el tiempo de la acción ya terminó y no está conectado con el presente.
In hospitals, nurses and staff often use the Past Simple to talk about patient admission, medical history, or what happened before arriving at the hospital. En los hospitales, las enfermeras y el personal suelen usar el Pasado Simple para hablar sobre la admisión de pacientes, antecedentes médicos o lo que sucedió antes de llegar al hospital.
We can use regular verbs (add -ed) and irregular verbs (special forms). Podemos usar verbos regulares (añadir -ed) y verbos irregulares (formas especiales).

⚠️ Important:
- In affirmative, the verb goes in Past Simple (checked, arrived, signed). En las afirmativas, el verbo va en Pasado Simple (checked → revisó, arrived → llegó, signed → firmó).
- In negative and interrogative, we use did / didn’t, and the verb goes back to the base form (not in past). En las negativas e interrogativas, usamos did / didn’t, y el verbo vuelve a la forma base (no en pasado).
- Do not use (Common Errors)
❌ He didn’t checked the form.
Error: Usar el verbo en pasado después de didn’t.
Correcto: ✅ He didn’t check the form.

Error: Usar el verbo en pasado después de Did.
